Jessica MacDonald is an interdisciplinary artist with experience in sculpture and installation, ceramics, drawing, print, media, performance and community arts. A graduate of NSCAD University, Jessica works with Wonder’neath open studio and has sat on the boards of local arts societies.

 

Her art practice is ever-shifting: touching on themes of play, identity, memory, consumerism and obsolescence, often using humour and whimsy to examine the relationships between people, technology, the environment, and permanence versus ephemerality. Jess aims to work with the subversion of expectations towards a radical reimagining of what art can mean.
